Margarita Marinated Strawberries

1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tablespoons Triple Sec
2 tablespoons tequila
3 pints strawberries, hulled

Mix sugar, lime juice, Triple Sec, and tequila in a medium bowl.

Process 1 cup of the strawberries in a blender or food processor until smooth. Cut remaining berries in half.

Stir pureed and halved berries into sugar mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or up to 8 hours before serving.
