Chrusciki - Angel Wings

6 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 C sour cream
1 jigger whiskey
2 C flour (more or less)
Mix the eggs, salt, sour cream and whiskey, add the flour a little at a time; mix into a smooth dough, if too soft add a little more flour. Roll out onto floured board till thin.
Cut into 2" strips lengthwise and then across at an angle into 2" strips.* Make a slit in the center and pull one end of the dough through to make a bow.
Deep fry until just lightly browned. Place on absorbent paper to cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar
*(my personal note..... I cut at an angle both times, so that they are diamond shaped)
