Unbelievable Brownies

1 box devils food cake mix (not pudding in the middle)
bag of kraft caramels (about 50, unwrapped)
12 oz bag of chips (your choice, white chocolate is nice)
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 cup chopped walnuts

Foil, grease and flour an 9x13" baking pan, preheat oven to 350°. Combine cake mix, melted butter and 1/3 cup evaporate milk. Press half this mixture into the cake pan and bake for 8 minutes. Meanwhile, melt over a low heat, the caramels with the other 1/3 cup of evaporated milk... and, mix the 1 cup chopped walnuts in the 2nd half of batter.... After 8 minutes, take out the pan and pour the chips over the top of the hot brownies, then pour the melted caramel over that....then top the whole shebang with the nut/batter mixture, put back in the oven and bake for another 16 or 17 minutes...

Let it cool for at least an hour....Do not refrigerate or you will lose a tooth while trying to eat it.... cut into squares, put a big chewy chocolaty square in the bottom of a dessert dish and top with a scoop of good vanilla ice cream.... sliced strawberries or rasberries on the ice cream is a fabulous idea!

These are really really deadly!! Oh, and they don't have any calories, so don't worry about that...
