Lourdes' Flan

1 can (14oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 can (12oz) evaporated milk
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Caramel:
1 cup sugar
1 cup hot water
Caramel:
Put sugar in saucepan over medium heat. When bubbly add hot water slowly as it will bubble more intensely. When brown put into a Loaf Pan and swirl to cover edges.
Flan:
Blend all ingredients in blender and pour into loaf pan covered in the caramel. Place loaf pan in a bigger pan with 3 inches of water. Put into oven at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes.
Put a toothpick in it to see if it comes out clean. If it does it is ready. Place in refrigerator and let it cool. After it is cooled, invert pan onto plate. ENJOY!!!
