Karen's Meatballs

2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 packet Beef MBT seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
for the sauce - 2 large bottles of Masterpiece Barbeque Sauce and a 1 lb. jar of grape jelly

1. Mix beef, breadcrumbs, eggs and the MBT seasoning together in a large bowl until well mixed. Form into small cocktail size meatballs.
2. Put a little oil in a deep frying pan and fry the meatballs until brown on all sides.
3 In a separate large pot, heat up on medium heat, the barbeque sauce and grape jelly until the jelly melts into the sauce.
4. After draining the cooked meatballs on paper towels, place them into the sauce and bring them to a low simmer for about 10 minutes. This recipe is best made a day or two ahead so the meatballs can sit it the sauce before eating them.
