Ginny's Pork Chops

1 1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. black pepper
1/4 t. paprika
1/4 t. chili powder
1 small onion (sliced)
1 small can tomato sauce
1 1/2 c. water
1 t. sugar
4 pork chops

Combine spices in a small bowl, mix well. Sprinkle over both sides of chops and lay flat in pan. Place onion slices over chops. Pour can of tomato sauce over. Sprinkle sugar over top. Add water. Bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours (more is ok, but less will mean tougher meat) at 350 degrees. Periodically, add more water to avoid drying and to give good amount of "gravy". Serve over rice, noodles, potatoes, whatever you like best. They will melt in your mouth!
