The Trinity Sessionby COWBOY JUNKIES
Review: Although the group has made several albums since this second release,
I think it is their best. The things Margot Timmins does with her
voice, and in an old church with only one microphone! The group also
does some innovative covers of Sweet Jane, Blue Moon, and I'm so
Lonesome I Could Cry. Country music, this ain't! Of course, my
favorite cut is...Misguided Angel.

Spiritchaserby DEAD CAN DANCE
Review: One of their most haunting and mystical albums yet. Aboriginal themes
twine around Celtic and Renaissance fragments. Perfect for
meditation, writing, ...or any other activity requiring your focus. ;)

The Sea of Dreamsby DAVY SPILLANE
Review: Another incredible cd from one of the best Uilleann pipers recording.
If you like sweet, soft Irish music, you'll love this one. Sinead
O'Connor is featured on two cuts, and does a magnificent job on Danny
Boy.

Global VoicesA Vox Set: Traditional, Sacred, Contemporary [BOX SET, 3 CD's]
Review: An incredible compilation and study of voice in music - vocal and vocal based music...from traditional tribal songs and overtone singing to Buddhist chanting and Gospel music, to contemporary a capella tunes and improvisations and more.

The John Lennon Anthology [BOX SET, 4 CD's]
Review: John Lennon fans MUST get this 4 CD anthology assembled by Yoko Ono. The set includes a 60 page book with photos and artwork. The alternate takes of tracks and previously unreleased tracks including home recordings make this a great set to add to your Lennon collection.

Fumbling Towards Ecstacyby SARAH McLACHLAN
Review: this album totally kicks ass! i found it to be very therapeutic when i was in a low
part of my life. Sarah is one of my favorite artists and even though this is one of her older albums,
i still listen to it a lot!

Opheliaby NATALIE MERCHANT
Review: Occasional pretentiousness notwithstanding, Natalie's voice and lyrics
could wring tears from stone. This one hasn't left my cd carousel
since I got it.

Growing Painsby BILLIE MYERS
Review: Did you know she wrote Kiss the Rain while she was in the states and
her lover was in London? At least that's the story from the radio.
It rather hit home, as I'm half a world from my love. All mush points
aside, this is a great album. She falls somewhere between Fiona Apple
and Meredith Brooks. Good riffs and great lyrics.

Oye Como Va: The Dance Collectionby TITO PUENTE
Review:No, Santana didn't write that song. ;) A great dance album by the one
and only Mambo King! You won't be able to sit still.
